Uses of Gabica:

  • Administration of postherpetic neuralgia (PHN) caused by varicella-zoster virus.
  • Curing GAD.
  • Managing FMS.

The initial dose of gabica capsule may be set at 150 mg per day. This dose may be increased upto 300 mg daily, based upon the patients feedback. A maximum dose of 600 mg per day may be administered. But this dosage is not a benchmark and might vary with each patient and with each disease to be diagnosed.

Adverse Effects attached with the use of Gabica:


  • Sleeping for long intervals
  • Intense feelings of well-being - euphoric mood
  • Visual field errors
  • Swelling of tissues
  • Weight gain
  • Cerebellar tremor
  • Erectile dysfunction

Gabica is not suitable for use for patients allergic to any constituent of the drug.

Gabica should be used during pregnancy only when it's pros outweigh it's cons.
